Metrotown is a Burnaby neighbourhood and is the current Regional Town Centre for Burnaby as well as Metro Vancouver. The development of the town centre has been a shining example of the city planning with multiple town centres instead of a single downtown core. Much of the downtown core is high-rise condo living.
Although the Northwest corner of Metrotown has mostly condos, there are Townhomes and low to mid-rise apartment buildings to the East and South in the vicinity of the transit line.
Metrotown has many styles of detached homes some with large lots.
South of Downtown Metrotown, you will find that there are a number of detached homes south of Imperial St. Some of these homes are on a slope with great southern views and larger lots.
