Located south of Coquitlam’s City Centre, this neighbourhood covers 756 acres and is home to almost 8,000
people.
Development of the primarily single-family residential began in the 1950s, expanding through the
next few decades as new subdivisions were created. Early phases of the area had a western theme with street
names such as Wagon Wheel Circle and Saddle Street.
Commercial activities within the area are limited and focused near the intersection of Westwood
Street and Dewdney Trunk Road; however, an extensive variety of commercial retail and service uses are easily
accessed nearby in the City Centre and in Central Coquitlam.
