Fraserview has an enviable “central” location with bridge access to Richmond, access to Commercial Drive markets to the north, and SW Marine Dr. access to UBC and New Westminster Quay to the East. Primarily a single family home area, this area has seen condos and townhouse developments including the beginnings of the river district homes along the Fraser river.
Fraserview is one of the most multiculturally diverse neighbourhoods in Vancouver. Despite the popular setting and great location, it has remained a “pretence-free” neighbourhood. There are excellent schools in the area as well as nearby markets and commercial streets. To the south, the area includes Vancouver’s developing River District.
Nearby, there are Chinese-Canadian, Persian, Lebanese, markets on Victoria Drive. There are also craft beer pubs and restaurants on 41st and in the River District. Don’t forget Fraserview golf course offers vancouverites a classic get-away experience on a weekend.
